MY WORK
Projects I have worked on in the Communications Media Program at Fitchburg State University. You can access my projects by clicking on the pictures.
Strong Style Coffee Proposal
In the Fall of 2019, I was placed on a team to create a plans book and a website proposal for our client, Kim Jones; who owns Strong Style Coffee in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. I was apart of a hard-working and great team. We took an approach to really meet the clients' needs when it came to social media, colors, and fonts. We worked well together which helped us create a fantastic plans book and website that the client loved. I wrote the Treatment, helped out with aspects of Budgeting, and wrote the Statement of Limitations in the proposal. Our team got the favor of the client for this project.
National Student Advertising Competition: Adobe
In the Spring of 2020, I worked on a plans book for the 2020 National Student Advertising Competition with our client being Adobe. I had worked on the writing team, helping with different sections of research and delivering the assessment. We placed in 5th in our district for the competition.
Sew-Together Quilt Shop Public Relations Plan
In the Fall of 2019, I was assigned to create a Public Relations Plan for a client of my choice. My client pick was Maryann Rossetti, Owner of Sew-Together Quilt Shop in Tewksbury, MA. She gave me the opportunity to market her shop, quilt classes, website, and Facebook Livestreams. I promoted her shop through social media & created some poster designs & logos for her to use for her Facebook page. I also wrote a Feature Article for her shop as well.
Ethics Of Online Catfishing
In the Fall of 2019, My Communication Law & Ethics Professor asked us to create a public discussion project through an organization called SOPHIA (Society Of Philosophers In America) in which we would choose a topic relating to ethics that we would present at Strong Style Coffee. Our topic was "The Ethics of Online Catfishing." We advertised this event through email, we created a promotional poster to advertise around campus, and through social media. The discussion went well, we had a lot of faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students come to give their input on the topic. After the discussion, we were asked to document and write the experience of the event.
